Guitar Hero 5: i contenuti scaricabili non saranno compatibili con World Tour

Activision ha fatto sapere dalle pagine di Destructoid che i contenuti scaricabili studiati appositamente per Guitar Hero 5 non saranno utilizzabili su Guitar Hero World Tour.

Secondo un portavoce del publisher il nuovo gioco ha così tante innovazioni e miglioramenti da che rendere praticamente impossibile una compatibilità con i prodotti meno recenti. Fra queste novità, uno star power attivato vocalmente e una modalità avanzata per la batteria.

Al contrario, la stragrande maggioranza della canzoni a catalogo di Guitar Hero World Tour (152/158) saranno importabili su Guitar Hero 5.

Ricordiamo che Guitar Hero 5 arriverà su PS3, X360 e Wii il giorno 1 settembre, e potrà vantare una tracklist iniziale di ben 85 canzoni.

Guitar Hero World Tour: disponibili singolarmente chitarra e batteria

I musicisti virtuali sono avvertiti: dopo mesi dall’uscita di Guitar Hero: World Tour, Activision ha finalmente rilasciato singolarmente chitarra e batteria, che potete già trovare nei negozi nel momento in cui leggete questo articolo.

La chitarra viene proposta a un prezzo di 69,90€ (64,90 per PS2), mentre la batteria a 129,90€. Entrambi gli strumenti sono disponibili per tutti i formati: PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PlayStation 2 e Wii.

Ricordiamo che il prossimo 22 maggio arriverà anche il nuovo Guitar Hero: Metallica, dotato di nuovi strumenti.

Al contrario di quanto molti credono, è bene specificare che il supporto per il doppio pedale non è esclusiva della nuova batteria, ma è disponibile anche per quella di World Tour.

[GDC 09] Guitar Hero World Tour arriva su PC

Aspyr Media porterà Guitar Hero World Tour su PC. L’annuncio ufficiale è avvenuto in occasione della Game Developers Conference 2009, ed è stato diffuso in anteprima da Gamespot.

Gli Aspyr sono gli stessi che avevano convertito Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock, con risultati non entusiasmanti (molti utenti lamentavano problemi di “stuttering” o pessima sincronizzazione. In questa nuova incarnazione saranno ridotte le funzionalità di condivisone delle tracce create, e non si sa ancora nulla se ci sarà la possibilità di scaricare contenuti aggiuntivi (in GHIII non c’era).

Guitar Hero: World Tour versione PC verrà venduto con una chitarra in bundle. Mentre nel caso del microfono andrà bene qualsiasi dispositivo USB, per la batteria ci si dovrà attrezzare: può essere utilizzata la versione PlayStation 3 dello strumento.

Guitar Hero: World Tour, Rock Revolution, Rock Band 2: anche Microsoft promette compatibilità fra gli strumenti

Dopo Sony, anche Microsoft ha ben pensato di rassicurare tutti gli appassionati dei titoli musicali: gli strumenti di Guitar Hero: World Tour, Rock Band 2 e Rock Revolution saranno resi compatibili e quindi utilizzabili senza problemi in ognuno dei giochi appena citati.

Anzi, il colosso di Redmond va oltre: mentre Sony ha ancora qualche piccola lacuna nell’intricato groviglio delle compatibilità (che probabilmente sarà risolta senza particolari inghippi), Microsoft annuncia da subito e in via ufficiale che tutti gli strumenti sono già stati resi compatibili con tutti i giochi.

Guitar Hero World Tour: Activision smentisce l’elenco delle canzoni

La lista dei brani di Guitar Hero World tour trapleata ieri, che tanto ci era piaciuta, si è rivelata un falso bello e buono.

Activision e Red Octane sono intervenute direttamente per smentire tutto, specificando che anche se alcune canzoni sono effettivamente previste (ad sempio “Hot for Teacher” dei Van Halen), la maggior parte di esse sono pura immaginazione.

Speriamo che la lista ufficiale ci sorprenda anche più di quella tarocca. Io ormai coi Pink Floyd ci ho fatto la bocca, che vi devo dire…

Guitar Hero World Tour: svelata la lista dei brani?

Il sito GoNintendo ha diffuso quella che dovrebbe essere la lista definitiva di canzoni presenti nel prossimo Guitar Hero World Tour.

La scelta dei brani non sembrano affatto malaccio, anche se a dire il vero qualcosina che solleva dei dubbi c’è: ad esempio la battaglia di chitarra contro Sting, che è un bassista. Notevole la presenza di Pink Floyd (!), Lynyrd Skynyrd e Dream Theatre. Presenti anche i Tokyo Hotel: ci domandiamo perché qualcuno non crei una petizione per sopprimerli fisicamente.

Spazio alla musica su Xbox 360: arriva Lips, lotta aperta fra Guitar Hero e Rock Band

Microsoft continua a pensare al settore casual gaming e agli appassionati di musica, “riciclando” un’altra idea di Sony e, in questo caso, del celebre SingStar presentando Lips, un nuovo simulatore canterino che farà largo utilizzo di uno speciale microfono realizzato appositamente con gli studi iNiS, al lavoro contemporaneo sullo sviluppo del gioco.

Uno dei vanti maggiori di Microsoft, il suo motion sensing, appare fra le caratteristiche più interessanti di Lips, in aggiunta all’integrazione dei lettori MP3 quali Zune e iPod, dove il gioco estrapolerà le tracce che potranno essere poi eseguite in diretta e giudicate dal “pubblico” presente. Per l’occasione, il direttore dello sviluppo di Lips, Keiichi Yano, invita l’ospite speciale Duffy a cantare la propria hit “Mercy” sfruttando l’interfaccia del gioco.

La presentazione del nuovo videogioco canterino è l’intervallo fra le presentazioni di due titoli rivali in ambito musicale, ovvero i vari Guitar Hero World Tour e Rock Band 2. Prima di Lips, il fondatore di Red Octane, Kai Huang, presenta la nuova chitarra che sarà disponibile con l’ennesimo capitolo del franchise realizzato da Neversoft illustrando in seguito le nuove caratteristiche esclusive, quali la modalità Music Studio, e gli artisti che presteranno le proprie melodie all’interno del gioco, come i Metallica.

In seguito, è Alex Rigolopus di Harmonix a presentare il nuovo Rock Band 2, la cui colonna sonora iniziale è composta da ben 84 tracce di artisti internazionali del calibro di Guns ‘N Roses, Bob Dylan e, esclusiva assoluta, degli storici AC/DC, mentre è molto interessante la promessa di inserire in futuro oltre 500 canzoni da poter sfruttare e suonare attraverso il nuovo capitolo della saga Rock Band.
